Over the last 10 years, we are witnessing an increase in the number of people who are single or divorced in metropolitan areas in India. Years of conditioning plays havoc on the minds of most of these people as they equate “being single” with “being incomplete.” What is the reason for this trend? And what is being single all about?

Young people, especially those living in big cities, are quickly migrating from choosing love marriages over arranged marriages. One is arranged by parents/relatives and the other is arranged by the self. As more and more young people leave their homes to study and work, they have greater opportunity to interact with members of the opposite sex and to develop feelings of “romantic love”. This has also lead to a shift in the average age of marriage to the late 20s in metropolitan areas. It is important to be aware that by this time one has well-formed expectations of a long term relationship as well as their partner, partly from experience through dating and friendship as well as development of our own personality with time.

As one goes through a series of relationships or awaits the “perfect” match, time slips by and they reach a point where they realize that the number of available prospective partners is minimal. At the same time, more people are choosing divorce early on in their dysfunctional marriages due to a new sense of financial independence and the dissolution of stigma associated with divorce. Being single in their 30s and 40s often leads to a number of conflicting thoughts and emotions and people are now seeking help through counselling, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP and past life regression to deal with their issues.

They can manifest various mental, emotional and physical symptoms such as:

  • Mind chatter (excessive thoughts/over thinking)
  • Depression
  • Loneliness
  • Anxiety
  • Resentment
  • Attention seeking behaviour
  • Feeling as if no one understands you
  • Anger
  • Jealousy/envy
  • Migraines
  • Skin disease
  • Concerns about their biological clock and ability to have and raise children

Counselling, hypnotherapy, and past life regression are used to help the client understand and cope with being single. Being single is NOT the same as being incomplete.

Through past life regression, we first identify whether there are any past life issues such as vows or curses that are preventing the client from finding a suitable partner in the current life. These karmic blocks may be the reason for you to have limiting beliefs such as “Love only causes pain” or “Men can only hurt you”, which you may or may not be aware of consciously. If there is any such past life issue, therapy is done to resolve the karmic impact of the issue.

Life between lives regression is used to ascertain whether the client has chosen a life of being single in order to learn certain life lessons.

With this prerequisite information, the client is then counselled and hypnotherapy is used to help alleviate the mental, emotional and physical symptoms that they are experiencing.

The client is empowered to fulfill their life’s purpose by living in alignment with their soul’s plan.
